It’s amazing that it tastes so wonderful and only 50 calories for 2 Tablespoons. I use it even when I guests that aren’t on a diet and they love it. So why is it impossible to find in the stores? I’ve asked our local Safeway to carry it but no luck. I was going to bite the bullet and order it from an on-line supplier but they had a note that I had to agree to substitute if not available. Hey Litehouse can I order from you direct??

The recipe specifically called for a poppyseed dressing. I thought my decision to go with Litehouse couldn’t fail, given how much I cherish their Sesame Ginger Asian Dressing, which I use on Taylor Farms Asian Chopped Salad Kit. The kit contains two packets of their Asian dressing, which I replace with Litehouse—significantly better! Well, I sincerely wish I had two packets of Taylor Farms Poppyseed Dressing that accompanies their Sweet Kale Chopped Salad Kit vs the Litehouse Poppyseed Dressing! It was extremely disappointing resulting in a bitter aftertaste and a nauseous feeling. Unfortunately, I purchased two pounds of fresh strawberries and two bags of fresh spinach, which will be trashed soon. I simply can’t bear having that Litehouse dressing again and don’t have time to make or buy a different poppyseed dressing, given that the strawberries have a brief freshness window. I’ve been waiting for the store I shop to again stock Litehouse’s Raspberry Vinaigrette—now I’m a bit reluctant to get too excited about that flavor due to actually feeling ill from the poppyseed dressing. Respectfully submitted.

I have gone to every location listed online and it’s not there! They can’t possibly discontinue one off their best sellers, but it looks as if they have.

I found it at a Safeway in Portland Oregon but they do have a product locator. Its the best dressing I’ve ever had. Goes great with spinach and cobb salads and I dip my hard boiled eggs in it for breakfast. Yummy

I love thousand island but is not a healthy dressing to eat all the time. I’m not really a fan of lighter salad dressings. I took a chance on this one b/c of the ingredients and how much less fat they have and we were blown away. My boyfriend can be picky when it comes to dressings b/c he’s not a vinagrette fan. This really is a fantastic dressing and goes great with cobb salads and spinach salads really well. Try it b/c my fear is that it becomes discontinued. It truly is a great dressing.

There were many other brands available, but this one was the only one that used canola oil, not soy bean oil…a huge plus since soy is way too prevalent in the American diet. And the canola oil was listed as third on the ingredients. The others all had soybean oil listed as first. That made Litehouse much less greasy with less calories and it had a light tangy taste. Delicious! Better for you with better taste. What’s not to love?
