We are undergoing a transition to a revised formula that uses soybean oil in its ingredients. This change comes from a worldwide oil shortage that constrains the supply chain around availability. For this reason, we must meet the demand for product’s needs.
The soybean oil used in Litehouse products is highly refined and considered safe for those with a soy protein sensitivity. According to the FDA, highly refined soybean oil is exempt from allergen labeling.

The ingredients here aren’t updated but it may now be made with canola and/or soybean oil. We have soy allergy and sensitivity here so this is now a no go.

I just went to use it, and the jar only says to combine with a bag of slaw. Nowhere on the package does it say how big a bag to use. I even read through all the reviews here, and that is not mentioned or clarified. The bag I have is 16 ounces. I will use that and hope for the best, You might consider adding that information to your jar — or at least this website.Once I taste the results, I will come back to update the rating. Thanks!

Litehouse cole slaw dressing combined with finely minced cabbage that I buy at Cubs is the best, at least in my opinion. Like their ad states, a combination of sweet and tangy. I found this to be a spot on description. I’ve tried many Cole Slaw dressings, I don’t have to search any further, it is the best. Added to a pulled pork sandwich, WOW…

This was unbearably sweet. The word saccharine came to mind. I would never use this again. I didn’t give it one star because it’s not the worst thing I’ve ever tasted, but I had to add at least 1/4 cup of vinegar and a handful of caraway seed to make it palatable. Even then, not so happy.
