I picked it up and glanced at it, didn’t realize that there was a picture of a red jalapeno on the cover. I thought it was a red bell pepper. I have a minor capsaicin allergy and things like jalapeno cause my tongue and gums to swell and some blisters in my mouth. Yes, I am slightly allergic and still eat spicy things. I’m a glutton for punishment. LOL

Perhaps put a fire logo on it to show that it is spicy.

I purchased it to used as a fajita topping but since purchase I have already dipped crackers in it, made a salad, & am preparing fajitas today. It is the MOST DELICIOUS thing I’ve ever tasted. I’m not sure where it’s been all my life but I’ve already recommended it to everyone that I know. I just wanted to thank you for producing such a truly amazing, delicious, versatile product! Thanks for you inquiry. Once you remove the lid there is no additional seal that needs to be removed. However, there should have been a plastic seal around the outside of the lid at time of purchase. We will be reaching out to you directly to address any further questions you may have.
