Litehouse’s Freeze Dried Garlic is my favorite to use – full of flavor AND it’s NON GMO. Yes please!

Then I found Litehouse, freeze dried! They are wonderful. Great in stews, casseroles, even in my air fryer & pressure, steamer pot.
Way to go!

Thank you for reaching out to us about our Instantly Fresh garlic. One jar of Litehouse garlic has the equivalent of 45 cloves inside, so it’s important to be careful not to add too much. 1 clove of whole garlic is considered to be equivalent to approximately ½ teaspoon minced.

I accidentally found this when I was looking for jarred garlic. I was instantly happy.
I have used this in beef, chicken, vegetables, eggs and rice or noodle recipes. It’s pretty self explanatory. It’s freeze dried. It’s needs a little liquid. I usually wait until about 15 minutes before the food is done to add. This stops it from burning. If the dish is a little dry, I’ll add some water or sauce when I add the garlic. I find it not to be as strong as fresh but still very good. I also use the ginger and Italian Herbs. These products are great when you don’t have a real kitchen or a refrigerator. They have also allowed me to bring a more fresh flavor to my back packing meals. It’s amazing how a few freeze dried products can make cooking in unusual ways so tasty and enjoyable. Thanks.

Could not find on the label!

Thank you for reaching out to us about this matter.

I recently ordered two jars and they smell and taste like mildew. I didn’t realize at first it ruined my entire meal, when I smelled it the mildew smell was very strong. I opened the second jar it smelled the same. For now I will use fresh garlic.

It’s way better than the jarred stuff. The flavor is as good as fresh. I’ve used it in everything from sauce to salad dressing. It’s gone in slow cooker meals and baked. It’s worked well on fish on the stove top. I can’t imagine going back to dried minced garlic!
