Hello Jan,

The date and code is stamped into the neck band that holds the lid to the jar. You might be able to feel the rough spot where it is located. Before opening, these herbs have a shelf life of three years, and after opening, this product should be freshest about one year. In humid areas, the shelf life could be shortened by a few months.

This product does not require refrigeration after opening. After the seal is broken, moisture from other products in your refrigerator can actually lessen the herb’s shelf life. To help keep the product as fresh as possible for as long as possible, we recommend storage in a cupboard away from direct light and humidity. Exposure to light can pull the color out of the herbs.

I recently bought your spring onions and, I must say, had my doubts. Well, no more. When put in whatever you cook, it brings out the flavor and aroma just as if you bought the real thing. My next purchase will be the dill. Looking forward to trying that as well. I would highly recommend!

I love most of your herbs; I just don’t buy the jalepeno type spicy spices. But I really love the Spring Onion. Very disappointed when I go to the grocery stores and find everything BUT the Spring Onion…. Please tell me is this Spring Onion something that is only offered at certain times of the year ???
