Best store bought I’ve found in terms of taste. And it’s available in my little grocery store in rural America where we live with limited selection. What I don’t like about it is that it’s just too thick, making it a little hard to toss evenly, and coating the leaves a little too thickly. I sometimes try to thin it with olive oil and lemon juice. If anyone has any suggestions on that I’d love to hear.

So far it is the very best Creamy Caesar bottled dressing that we have tasted. It is also great as a spread on a grilled bell pepper and vegetable panini or we used as a fun twist on a burger. Our regular market does not carry it though.

Sadly I have not been able to find any near me in months. I’m not sure if it’s being discontinued or my local stores just all stopped carrying it but I find it odd that they all stopped carrying it at once but still carry the ranch and blue cheese dressings. If I could find it I would definitely stock up.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the pasteurization of Litehouse products. We always appreciate hearing from our customers.
The eggs used in the dressing is pasteurized before the formulation of the dressing begins. The final dressing is acidified and must be kept refrigerated for quality. The milk used to make the blue cheese and the buttermilk as well as the feta cheese used in our dressings are also pasteurized.

Just sad that it’s getting harder to find. I’ve used the store locator but those grocery stores carry more of the other dressings like Ranch than anything else. However, when I do luck up and see it, I usually clear the shelf. Lol.
