I only just noticed this “Bacon Blue Cheese” flavor in stores recently. I bought it more out of curiosity than anything. I put off trying it for several salads, sticking instead with the Original/Chunky Blue Cheese, which I only find “acceptable” as far as bleu cheese goes, but basically the best of some mediocre options at the grocery store.

I finally tried this Bacon Blue Cheese, and was BLOWN AWAY! I couldn’t believe how rich and flavorful it was! I’ve bought nothing but this flavor since then (a couple of months, now), and it’s just as amazing every time! I truly didn’t think it was possible anymore to get such a savory, cheesy option commercially, but wow! This is it!

I was devastated last night when I went to make a salad, and realized I had run out! But I still had an unopened bottle of Original Blue Cheese, so I figured it would be fine. It wasn’t. In comparison, the Original is AWFUL! I truly cannot go back!

The Bacon Blue Cheese flavor doesn’t taste at all like bacon to me. I fear others who bought it specifically hoping for it to taste like bacon may be disappointed. On the other end, I’m afraid those who might actually LOVE IT would be put off by the sound of “bacon blue cheese,” and won’t even try it. I don’t know how big of a seller this is for you, but if you find it not selling well, I strongly advise you to play around with other names for it. I suggest something along the lines of “Savory Blue Cheese,” and then in smaller print “contains bacon.”

But, whatever you do…
Please don’t ever change this dressing!
Please don’t ever stop making this dressing!
Please start selling this dressing in the larger bottles!

I literally eat it every day.

Of course, blue cheese and bacon sounded like a wonderful flavor explosion so though I had sworn off store bought dressing long ago I went for it. And I’m hooked. I put 2 big tablespoons in a giant bowl of spinach with some lettuce and give it a very good toss to mix it up! A really great dressing, I’m looking forward to their Caesar next.

I was hooked at first taste and now dread not having any in my refrigerator at home or at work. I usually use it with raw veggies; however, I recently decided to microwave some carrots, broccoli and cauliflower for about 2 minutes. I poured the dressing over the veggies and it was fabulous. I have also dipped left over, cold steak in it. This IS my “go to” for any dressing/dip.
